Fine by me, if a food is Genetically modified, slap a label on it in the grocery store outside of the box the food is being sold out of....Then let customers decide, If it was really that simple it would be a no brainer, but we all know where this is going.....Slowly but surely companies will have to list the EXACT amount of Genetically modified material in it, which then becomes a GIGANTIC expense...... And we all know that wont be good enough, cause people will still choose the cheaper food, which is genetically modified...... So then the Liberals are slowly but surely going to work towards eliminating genetically modified foods altogether, the fact of the matter is that their "free range eggs and chicken" arent exactly flying off the shelf,(pardon the pun) as no one wants to pay twice as much for the same product, so once they realise that their bone headed idea is not popular, there is going to be a lovely brand new set of rules banning this genetically modified stuff altogether...... The funny thing is I bet you think that this is absurd right? Would you have thought 10 years ago that people would have been trying to ban salt in restraunts and ban the size of pop you can drink? We are going the exact same way with this genetically modified food...... Genetically modified food has the potential to feed/save billions of people in starving countries, but of course, that doesnt matter to the eco nazi's cause its not natural.....

Just slapping a label that says "organic" on a product is a license to double the price of that product and the funny thing is, the product is not even organic!!!!! It's such bullshit.
