Several months ago, a guy named Doug Allen came to elitetrader looking for an edge and traders to fund. Having interest in hedge funds, edge and various marketing tactics-- I tried to meet with Mr. Allen on 2 occassions--once in NYC then again in Pburgh -- neither meeting occured. Having read on elite that traders have been funded and a contest is going on in Fiji with Tony Robbins to fund others--- has anyone here actually been funded or taking part in this supposed contest? if so, what was the criteria? it's quite interesting that another Robert Allen did this same idea in real estate awhile ago. This Robert D. Allen may be trying to replicate the real estate guy or Turtle experiment or something else to help promote a book, seminar, TV show, or even website. any info??? surf
