  1. @Velenje,

Thanks. Nice to know our work was not for nothing.

I just checked GMAIL setup. Here is the way it worked for me:

on the Portfolio and Alerts, elect the EMAIL TEMPLATES tab and click on the NEW TEMPLATE button. Then enter the following:
FROM email address: your Gmail address
    Mail Server Address (SMTP): SMTP.GMAIL.COM
    PORT: 587
    Requires Authentication: CHECKED:
User ID and Password: your Gmail address and password

Hit SAVE CHANGES, then select the newly created template again, and hit the TEST button.

That worked here. If it is not working for you, check your firewall or antivirus software. It may be blocking all but recognized mail clients from sending out SMTP email

    THX Jerry...

anyway i want to make an amendment to my previous msg..i moved QT to another partition and it started to work again normally...so the problem it was not from Stockwatch.

The funny thing is that i removed the old installation of Qt and then installed it again...well backfill worked for a while and then stoped again!!!! Of course i checked my disk for malware/virus but i didnt find anythings...

Am puzzled...but at least i have a copy of QT in a different partition, working..

  10. Thanks for responding to my question, Jerry. If there is a QT wish list, I'd like to place the ability to reference a price in a paintbar associated with the occurrence of any event. Thanks again.
