    Jerry,

sorry to bring this up again but I am getting a very large number of volume spikes followed by negative volume bars right after to correct for the mistake ... it is very frustrating for me because it messes up the charts and I constantly have to clear the chart data and backfill over it to correct it as it keeps doing this over and over with my stock symbols ...

I also see something weird about the Level I quotes ... it says I have 61 "Level I subs" when i hover my mouse over the green light next to L1 on the status bar. is it normal to have so many subs for L1 ? Can i fix it so it only shows 1?

EDIT: I've also tried switching servers but the problem still arises.

    Jerry,
The first pop-up is a small screen whose title bar says "Quotetracker Registration Required". I will upload a file with this note as well (never tried it on this forum - hopefully it works).

The second pop-up is a larger screen that is identical to the one on this link: http://www.quotetracker.com/reqreg.asp

    Will a Webupdate fix this?

    Thanks,
    SS

  3. X5, I have no idea. I don't have your setup so really have no way to tell you why that is happening.

As for number of subs - that just indicates how many symbols are subscribed. If you only want it to read 1, then remove all but one symbol from your portfolio :)

  4. sadana,

I see. It seemst aht you updated just the STOCKS.EXE file from the QTFIX.ZIP and not the rest. Make sure you update the various optx*.* files as well, or better yet - update all files from the zip.

    Hi Jerry,
I'm sorry to trouble you with this question, but I've been trying to figure it out for ages and even though I've studied your documentation about it, I can't seem to grasp it.

What exactly does the pressure bars on the charts and next to the mini maps on the portfolio view show?

I've tried to figure out if it is buyers or sellers, watched level2 to try to find a correlation, but I can't be sure.

If you would explain these two sets of bars and what they are giving I would be very grateful. And once again, thank you for QT!

  6. tomi01,

Wow, you actually read the documentation?! :)

Shows the ratio of shares traded at or below the bid (Red) vs. at or above the ask (Green) over the last 30 trades (quotes with volume). It is similar to the color coding used in Raw data to show buys vs. sells (pressure).

The idea is that if many more trades are occurring at the bid vs at the ask, then you are seeing selling pressure. And vice versa

    Jerry,

yeah I understand... I just really wish it would go away.

Have you ever fixed this problem in the past? What did the users do to fix it?

EDIT: also .. would a screenshot of my quotetracker setup help maybe?

jerry, sorry for pushing it... its not too big of a problem anyway.

I really appreciate your help with the bid/ask data though... switching servers seems to have fixed that, so thank you!

    Jerry,

I thought I had replaced all the files from the 3.9.8a patch, but just to confirm, I extracted all the files and replaced all 22 of them into the current folder. (If you can give me the size/modified timestamp of any updated file I should particularly check for, I can do that).

After relaunching the program, I still get the same 2 pop-up windows everytime I update the portfolio.

Very strange. Not sure why it is happening. Thanks for your help, Jerry.
