Well then it looks like June 15th 2012 will be my last day with Ameritrade. I cant stand TOS or Trade Architect!
Can someone confirm that irrespective of ameritrade's "drawdown" that QT will still work? Does anyone think they will cut their data feed to QT on 6/15?
Thanks Jerry. Not sure what drawdown means in this context. Their lack of support has been anything but gradual. But if it still works then who cares about their plans.
Hi Jerry, i have a question..the browser of quotetracker use the regular hosts file? Many Time i use it to read the news and all that ADs are pretty annoying... THX David
David, QT uses a standard IE browser, so if you had stuff to the hosts file, it will impact QT as well
Hi Jerry, My yahoo news RSS feed seems not work, what is the correct URL link? I have this http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?ei=UTF-8&p=$TAG&eo=UTF-8 shown in the news preferences. The Google News RSS does work. Thanks.
The URL you gave is not recognized by Yahoo. If you remove the URL Encoding, that seems to return legitimate RSS XML: http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?ei=UTF-8&p=$TAG&eo=UTF-8 Don't know if that is the data you want - seems to be filtered for "TAG"? the one I had was http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/stocks You can find the one you want here: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/rssindex/
Thanks Jerry. I want to get news search that can be seen by "per symbol", filtered by symbol. It seems that the news returned from the links in Yahoo rss list can only be seen in "All News". The google link http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=$TAG&ie=UTF-8&output=rss does the function that news can be seen both by "per symbol" and "All News".
