Anyone know or use E-trade or Schwab as quote source for QT. I am thinking about open an account at one of them. Want to know if these source still work or how well they work. thanks
E*Trade works as of today. No idea about Schwab. However QT integrates with Schwab by reading the HTML pages (not streaming). If Schwab redesigns their web pages, QT will stop working. Such snapshot quote integration is more likely to get messed up then when QT connects to streaming datafeeds.
Thanks Now, how about FirstTrade and ScottTrade, do they all have streaming? Here is FirstTrade descripion on QuoteTracker.com: "Free real-time quotes for customers only. Streaming quote option only supports NASDAQ stocks. Snapshot auto-refresh quotes support all US stocks" Still true?
Hello, i was just wonderin if someone know if this come from the data provider or not and eventually how to fix it... On some stocks (but not all) the avg volume showed is 1 or 2 (see attached picture highlighted in red) Any Idea??? THX David
Avg Volume - depends on the datafeed. Stockwatch does not provide it, so QT gets it from the fundamental data. Seems that fund data servers don't have avg volume info for these symbols. Not much you can do there.
I just found this site, went through the forum, found the fix for QT and HAPPY DAYS are back !!!!!!!!! Here's the file http://www65.zippyshare.com/v/77716919/file.html Live long QT, the best charts out there. I also let thinky or stinky (tos) what I thought of their charts.
