Thanks Jerry, had some issues before I saw your post, re. 3.9.8a...I still had 3.9.8... Also, thanks to YDFAH...and IQFeed support... QuoteTracker & IQFeed...longtime happy user...
it's a standalone product, as long as we can get data to it, the company might be finished but the product isn't
ydfah, i understand that it's really a stand alone software program, and as long as we can get data to it from one of the other providers, it will continue to work even though the company may be gone, is that correct?
ydfah is there anyway to write code for it that might allow for streaming data from something inexpensive like yahoo or some other readily available source? and why all of the sudden did this quit. i got an email back from harrison at qt saying they were working on the problem which i didn't understand. i thought they or tda caused it.
Nope, some site like Yahoo in the past specifically requested that QT not tap into their feeds. As to the recent backup issue, I have to idea.
ydfah, how does it work with interactive? i suppose you have to have an account with them and subscribe to data. will this patch allow it to work with them?
I'll answer for ydfah.(By the way ydfah, thanks for the link) You are right lipluradon...you have to have an account and subscribe to data, and patch will work. I use IB and it's been working, so far. RC
