QT Futures data still not updating today. It is like QT does not recognize the futures symbols. I have IB charts and quotes up and they are fine on TWS. Stock (SPY) charts work fine on QT. The only issue is with futures data (GLOBEXESU1). Quotes, Level II, Charts - nothing updates. I have been using QT for years and it has always worked. All of my setting are the same as they have always been. I am running the latest version of QT. I have tried restoring my backup on a duplicate version of QT and still no data. I emailed QT support Tuesday AM so hopefully I hear back soon. I will post if/when I hear anything. I can't trade without my QT charts!
Max days on charts=10...unable to go higher...All quote sources are set to IQFeed... BTW, I also talked to IQFeed support, and they told me that the max days of intraday=10...Also asked if I could have more days if I paid a higher rate, but support said "no"... This was also an issue with me (having only 10 days) back when Jerry & friends were at the helm...but I have stayed with the QT, (since it's still the best...(getting around this by using TC2000 hourly, or even 2-and 4-hour intraday going back several months). Again, thanks ydfah...
Very strange. I assume you are using the installed version of IB..not the web browser version.... It sounds like something got corrupted. Only a guess. What I would do, while waiting for a response, is to save all the QT related programs, data, etc...put that aside, and install the latest version from scratch, preferably iin a new directory. After installing just enter a couple of symbols 1-2 futures & 1-2 stock.....see if your now getting the futures data in QT....only a guess & worth a try if you are dead in the water. I have reinstalled QT so many times .... this should be able to be done in less than 30 minutes...more like 10.....
All IB futures still working here as well as always. Sounds like you have something wrong with your installation. Thanks for the guy who posted the patch. Haven't tried it yet, but good to know it's here if I need it. QT is number one! Sure hope a way would be found to maintain it. Or else that Jerry would build a new, similar program from scratch (that would also work n Linux and Mac).
I likewise have been using it since the beginning of time. I must go back to 1998 or so. It has been always reliable. Great piece of software.
QT with IQFEED. When using Volume charts for ES, NQ, YM the data drops between midnite & 2 am (EST). All other chart styles work fine. Any ideas?
