QT 3.9.8a with TDA datafeed quit updating Portfolios at 11:45:29 EST March 30, 2015. Indexes continue updating. Anyone else? Assume a problem with TDA that will be corrected posthaste. Back up and running @ 13:02:09. Down again @ 13:05:17. Sketchy, up then down continuing.
If I am to guess, you have some bad symbol in the portfolio causing the problem or the button on top of the portfolio is not pressed. If it says START, click on it.
Thanks. It is working now. It was going from working to not working without any intervention on my part. How is it going over at MT? What are MT's current and future datafeeds? I think this is my 17th year of using QT. I started using QT couple of weeks before the "Free real time quotes" website was going to throw you and everybody that used QT, in jail;-)
Oh, those days bring back memories. MT - Doing good - putting finishing touches on Alerts. Then have to make the web site - dread it.
Back in those days you probably had nightmares that were primarily in bright yellow and white. What at the time looked to you like the worst that could happen, eventually turned out to be the best. I'll do some catch up over at MT.
Hi Gerry I just logged on QT and was not able to get update on my charts message Unable to start streamer IB Error compiling scrip for streamer Ib Do you want me to send you the copy of the error here? I have windows 8.1 and IB bldg 1.0.6726.1639 thanks john
3-31-2015 TDA is definitely having some problems. A couple of ETFs with volumes 20-40 million shares a day have been crapping out off and on since around 10:30. The relative volumes from Finviz for these ETFs are .49 and .55, so about 1/2 normal. All the other ETFs in QT are updating normally.
They finally got back up to speed a little after 3:00. The percentage relative volume for the 150 ETFs that average trading over one million shares a day, ended the day at 55.95%.
