The only workaround for QT would be to change your computer's time zone. Since Ameritrade does not support QT, there will not be any updates. You can get a beta version Medved Trader, which has this issue fixed. To get it, either email our support, or register and post a beta request at http://forums.medvedtrader.com
Jerry, Problem is the backfilling. In the morning, when I start the QT, it starts streaming the quotes, no problem thru out the day or until I close it. It does not get back filled from the time I close until I restart again. Thanks for the very quick response. Thanks Dale
Okay, I also asked IB about this and they said it's related to the latest Java version. They recommended uninstalling the latest version and switching to Java version 1.7.0_55, which fixed the issue.
y, could be. Issue is with the backfill request - We specifically sent out a request time in Eastern time and specified that. But that specification seemed to be ignored, which I guess could be due to some change in date parsing in Java.
Here a link to Java 7 update 55: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/j...ownloads-javase7-521261.html#jre-7u55-oth-JPR
Anyone know if this is something java BROKE or was it some legit change. And can it be toggled in some kind of java setting. Would like to be able to run the latest Java , not be stuck with an old build just to have backfil work properly.
Hi Jerry, I have several months of tick data in qt, it shows up correctly in t&s. However on tick chart, only the most current data shows, sometimes only a few minutes on high volume stocks. Is there a setting to see all of the tick data on chart. When do you plan to release production version of Medved trade?
QT had a limit to the number of bars it would show on the chart, so if the ticks per bar is set low, it would cut off. MT has something like that, but significantly higher don't have a production release date, but trading for TDA and IB will be released very soon in beta. Hopefully this month, if other stuff doesn't come up causing distractions
