Ever since Yahoo was used as daily backfill I cant get charts to post with current prices on them, every daily chart I load today has jan 31 as last day.
If you are getting Level I quotes on the same symbols, you can set QT to build the last candle from the real-time data. Option for that is on OPTIONS/Data Sources/Hist Backfill tab
I am logged into Ameritrade so I guess thats L1, and the calculate box on that tab is already checked.
IB symbols CSCO, INTC, MSFT FYI - this morning those symbols are working again in QT, with and without the ISLAND: prefix.
Now running QT (version 3.9.8a) on Windows 7. After minimizing the QT windows the following happens: - QT windows disappear (as expected) - No QT icon in the taskbar - Restoring QT windows only possible by restarting QT Any ideas / hints what can be done to resolve this? (Other programs running on the machine/Win 7 don't show this behavior.)
uexkuell, by default, system tray icons are hidden in Windows 7. click on the little UP arrow next to the tray icons, and select CUSTOMIZE. Scroll down till you see: STOCKS.EXE QuoteTracker and select "Show icon and notifications"
I have to install QT on to a new computer. Can I simply install the zip file patch from Zippyshare? Does that have the patch and the full 3.9.8 version all in one? Or do I install QT from CNET.com followed by the patch? A 2 step process.
10-4 good buddy. Will the new MT support MB Trading as before? And will MT be up and running soon? Where do I send my money?
