Jerry, Just noticed my intraday isn't 60 days my chart shows 30 days...my settings are set for 60. See pic
iTrader, The patch updated the program to allow up to 60 days of data, but the TDA backfill configuration file is still set to max 20 days of backfill data, so as you go forward, it will store data.
you are asking the wrong person - that would be a question for Ameritrade. Of course they will claim that they don't support QT and you should switch to TOS, but this is not a Quotetracker bug. This is simply the data they return via the API for that symbol
Gotcha, how do I view more intraday on quotetracker. Can I route the preferences through either etrade or speedtrader? Or what would my other options be to get more than 1 day via intraday?
QT supports ETrade for quotes only, not backfill. Speedtrader is not supported. You could get one of the supported subscription datafeeds, such as IQFeed.
I'll buy IQfeed tmrw thank you. How do I open a new blank intra day chart? Example: when I open FNMA intraday it opens the previous chart that I made with bollinger bands, etc? But I want a blank intraday so I can make a another chart and save as another template? Thank you again
For now I just opened up FNMA and deleted the indicators and save this as a new template called "blank intraday"
Hello - Signed up just to talk to the only people who seem to care about QT - Short version - before I send money to QT: 1. Does using E-Trade for streaming still work well? 2. How long before TDA shuts it down entirely? Longer_ I have been using it for years - heard about it on Silicon Investor - which was quite the place in the late 90s. I have accounts at Schwab and Etrade - and gave up on QT when TDA forced registration. I cannot find anything else that works for me - QT has the look of the quote screens I used on a trading desk - the sortability - everything. I am no longer a trader - delayed quotes would be fine - but I cannot get QT to update using any of the delayed sources. Registered at Stockwatch - QT said I had to enable the account at SW to update QT - which you can't do on a free account. FINALLY - MY QUESTIONS - it seems like the best course is to register for QT and pay the $120/yr. I don't see Schwab on the data sources - so it would be E-Trade. 1. Does using E-Trade for streaming still work well? 2. How long before TDA shuts it down entirely? Thanks for any input -
