Is there any way to make trendlines drawn on historical charts visible on intraday charts without redrawing them? I know how to make intraday trendlines visible on all intraday timeframes, but would like the longer timeframe trendlines to be visible as well. TIA. Jack

Hello, can someone confirm...do I need to deposit the $2000 in order to use QT? I was told I didnt but the company emailed me and said I do?

I'm talking about quotetracker. I sign onto through TDA. I called TDA and they advised in order to view more than 2 days of charts that they would (on their end) activate it for me. I then got an email today stating that I need to deposit $2000. Do I need to deposit $2000 in order to chart with quotetracker AND get more than 2 days of charts?

Sorry but I can't help. I do know that TDA stopped supporting QuoteTracker some years ago, that's the reason this thread was started. They want to people to use the platforms they still support. So perhaps it is a policy intended to discourage QT use.

You don't mention the size of your account but I assume it's not too large. An additional $2,000 seems to be what they are looking for. I'd ask them if the feed is based on some specific account balance so that you'll know what happens to the data feed if your account size shrinks due to normal market variations.

Thanks Jack. I don't mind paying a monthly or yearly fee, but don't want to keep $2k in that acct as I don't use them as my broker.

Also, what is recommended when QT is shut down? Did Jerry make another platform?
If not who would you use that is most similar to QT?

    thank you

  9. @iTrader,

the $2,000 thing is for an automatic registration of the software for TDA clients. Right now TDA does not offer registration to anyone else (other than existing registered accounts)

If you get the patch that was posted at http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3491423#post3491423
and update your QT install with it, it will be fully registered and give you 60 days on intraday charts.

and of course you will want to change to Medved Trader once it is released :)
