What settings (period) of DEMA you use and on which chart? Daily, intraday?

I had an interesting "hang" today... took a while to figure it out, and wondering if anyone else had this characteristic.

I had two equities open on my screen in separate quotetracker charts, with IB's booktrader open next to each. If I minimized booktrader, that chart and T&S stopped updating. If I closed booktrader, the corresponding quotetracker chart did not update.

Closing and restarting quotetracker did not clear it. Closing and restarting IB's connection did. Reopening booktrader and minimizing or closing it, again "hung" the quotetracker chart update.

Must be some quirk in the IB API...

@bigmoose, that does sound like something with IB API. After closing Booktrader, you could just force QT to reconnect - right click on the SITE Selection combo box - its an option there.

Upgraded IB version and that cleared up the problem.
