Thank you Jerry! Your instructions fixed the issue. Looks as though whoever wrote the holidays, put in '2013' under the list for 2012. For anyone else who had this issue, you made need to change your permissions for the QT Folder as the first attempt Access was Denied! Thanks again.
My "Holiday Schedule" shows New Years day for 2013 as the last holiday. I have not noticed any problems with data or charts not looking correct. Do I need to be adding holidays for 2013 to the "Holiday Schedule" or can I just forget about the "Holiday Schedule" omissions?
restore settings is the section for most actives. I either have a corrupted file or TD is not supplying that data feed. Thanks
@em17976 Not sure what you refer to about Restore settings. There is no separate file for Most Actives. it is just built in for TDA data source. Should just work. If you are not getting data, make sure the button on top right of that window is clicked (if it says START, click on it)
I have to chime in here and say that they certainly don't make professionals like Jerry Medved any more. He is the consummate caring and supportive developer and professional.
My data starting working and is streaming now, but I still can't get QT to recognize my IB account so I can trade and enter orders through QT. I keep getting the message at startup that ""QuoteTracker must be registered in order to use Interactive Brokers for market data and/or trading." I have the patch applied, shouldn't that tell QT that it is registered? I also have a TDA account and tried configuring QT to use TDA for trading which in the past has registered it. Anyone have any idea how to get this working?
It seems that my font arrows are placed right over the start /stop button. I clicked in between the openings and it worked? I don't know why the Font arrows got bigger. Thanks, It is working.
My answer will probably not help that much, but I remember, for IB I had to go through some additional steps to get it work. Those steps are posted somewhere on MQT home page. You probably already did this, but just in case if you didn't, here are steps: http://www.quotetracker.com/help/ib.shtml You said you fresh install QT. If you can access HDD (remove it from died computer and attach it to new one or use tool to temporally get access to it on new computer through USB port) and just simple copy it to new computer. That way you have all settings set as on your old computer.
