Jerry, another thing I have often wished is that QT portfolios had an optional column (that you could open 2 or 3 or more of if you wish) that allowed you to enter information that could be sorted either alphabetically or numerically. For instance, I could enter things like Lithium, tantalum, nat gas, etc., and then sort stocks according to these labels in the columns. Perhaps that is too much to ask. But that would be really cool for those who invest in the big themes, or sectors, or mining stocks, etc. p.s. Thanks for the time you are putting into this project.
I also plan to drop MS Windows and use Linux when QT no longer functions with windows 2000. Hopefully the Medved Trader will work using "Mono" within Linux.
Long time QT addict (about 1998 or so). Is the "Medved Trader" going to be a freebee with cool banner ads with Danica Patrick, ala Go Daddy, or a subscription so you can purchase that Bentley you have coveted these many years? Inquiring minds need to know.
