Yes, we are working on a new program. Same general idea as QT. Newer, much more robust. Better performance/responsiveness. Initially will try to get similar functionality. Then once that is done, will go on to do more.
4.0 - Client profile. We started WPF, but it just didn't meet our performance requirements, so we switched to WinForms. it wasn't even close.
I have been a fan of Quotetracker for a long time but as of last year it ceased to work with The Aussie broker Commsec. This I believe was due to Commsec making changes to their website. Was just wondering and hoping there may be a way around this. Either via updated files pertaining to Commsec or the possibility of Jerry Medved writing same new files. I didn't use the Quotetracker for trading (did that via Commsec's site) but for near real time quotes. Real time quotes are too expensive via Commsec if one only trades occassionaly. Will the New program you are working on work with Australian Brokers. Thanks in advance and regards.
Hi Jerry...could you help me with this problem: Every so many months QT will start locking up or crashing on me. In the past I think I've deleted certain files and the problem has corrected itself. But it's been long enough now that I don't remember what I did exactly. Are there certain QT files that are susceptible to corruption that I should try to delete first. I'm hoping it's not the data history files since I've been collecting up to 60 days of intraday and I'd hate to lose that...but the problem is getting bad, 5 lockups today, so I'll do whatever it takes. I'm using 3.9.8a. Windows 2000. BTW, as you're working on your new program...could you please make it compatible with Windows 2000 for those of us who still love this great old OS. barata
As far as fixing it for QT, not much chance of that. sorry. As for the new program, we plan to make it so it will be able to support snapshot quote sites such as Comsec. I suggest either following this thread or me on Google+. I'm not active there now, but will post some announcements once we have stuff ready to beta. Will need to configure it from scratch
Is there a way to draw freehand lines on a QT Chart? Drawing straight lines is easy in the software. I am interested in drawing lines on the charts that are not straight. I will appreciate all suggestions.
