I have only tried and compared Neoticker and AmiBroker with IB feed, which might not be the best option for NT. AB charts load much faster, and new indicators apply faster. I am not sure how it would be with other feeds. Backtesting is also very fast with AB, but this I have not really tried out with NT, because I find AFL easier to learn, maybe because I had already played with it some years ago. At any rate, this is just a superficial, personal experience, nothing based on profound testing.
I mean like this. It takes a millisecond to see which puppies I want to buy or sell. Simplicity and efficiency to the max. If this goes out of existence forever and no one picks it up that will be a crying shame.
Seems like a lot of your posts have this sarcastic tone questioning why anyone feels the way they do or thinks what they do. Not sure what your problem is. Hope the sun is shining where you are. Been able to kill it yet?
Yes, it's a different picture. Just wanted to find something that matched the unique feature you were interested in...
Lee is your screenshots of neoticker? I like the look of your first screenshot. Is it possible to settup a screen like you have done and have candle charts of the daily, 15 minute and 1 minute side by side all updating in real time? Is it possible to have for example the 15 minute and 1 minute charts showing more then one day of data?
Yes, they are. Yes, you can. The table I posted already had daily and 15-minute chart updated in real time. You can add 1-minute (or, for example, even 15-second or 100-tick) candles if you wish Yes, you can. In a table like the one I posted you specify how many bars you want to see. So, with a large enogh number of bars NeoTicker will go the necessary number of days back. However, in a table cell such a chart will look pretty cramped. In a chart window though I regularly zoom out to see 5-years worth of one-minute bars. Veyr handy if I want to draw a couple of support or resistance lines... not to mentions finding any irregularities in the data or trading systems applied to it.
Thanks Lee. Are those micro charts selected from a preexisting list provided by the software and placed into your quote window or are those manually created by you? Can those windows be resized or are they fixed? Can you add volume or indicators to those micro charts as well? Thanks. For any multicharts users can the software duplicate what Lee has done in neoticker?
