Other than the historical backfill last bar problem, and being a little sluggish at times when changing functions, I've been satisfied with QT with IQ feed- a great combination. I find the multi portfolio features and trend line alerts particularly useful.
I thought he'd have show up by now. I think Ameritrade muzzles him I think they figure if you lose $ on an acknowledged bug, they can be sued.
Yes, and I believe for the sole reason to prevent IB from doing just that, which would have been a far better and possibly great outcome (and bad for A-turd) Btw. the frequency of updates has slowed down since then, but it still is fairly regularly. I even think it is better this way, since Jerry had the tendency to ship overnight beta's with an update the following morning . Maybe he gets some sleep nowadays. Ursa..
Frankly, how hard can it be to write this stuff from scratch. It takes time and effort but good programmers are a dime a dozen
I assume your refering to historical data charts? this is an ib data bug which i understand is being worked on.
I believe Jerry and company still give support by email for QuoteTracker. A-turd has muzzled them by not letting them respond here or anywhere else. If you had a brain big enough to create anything besides what falls into the toilet each morning, you would defend your creation too...
I get bad spikes on IB backfills and charts, both historical and intraday, and I don't use Quotetracker. I hope they're working on it.
Hmmm... I just backfilled a few stocks using IQfeed and it stinks. I don't trade stocks so I didn't know this problem existed. I guess it is a QT problem. Never have had a problem backfilling emini's, and other futures, ect...
