The following short quiz consists of 4 questions and will tell you whether you are qualified to be a "Professional Trader". Scroll down for each answer. The questions are NOT that difficult. 1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator? The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way. 2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator? Did you say, "Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?" (Wrong Answer) Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions. 3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend except one. Which animal does not attend? Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory. OK, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities. 4. There is a river you must cross but it is inhabited by crocodiles. How do you manage? Correct Answer: You swim across. All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes. According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong. (Sorry, I guess I have a little too much time on my hands these days )
How do they figure those answers to be correct??? it would seem to me that you would want to fall in the 90% of those tested that didnt answer one correct...being that there are no answers for those questions....or many answers.... the real correct answers: 1) Chop up the giraffe DAHMER style and stuff him in. 2) Buy another refrigerator follow steps above.... 3) No Animal Attend because if you read the memo you would know the meeting was canceled 4)This one is tricky...since they are not attending the meeting...I guess ill get this one wrong...peace
I'd like to add two more questions... 1 - How can you get 5 elephants into a mini Cooper ?? 2 - How much is the half of 2 plus 2 ? Give them a try. I'll post the answers on monday. OK !! OK !! 1 - If your answer is 3 in the rear , 2 in the front. Wrong answer. The right answer is 2 in the rear and 2 in the front. Why ? Because the number five is in the refrigerator.. Don't you remember ? 2 - If your answer is 2. Wrong answer. The right answer is 3, because the 50 % of 2 is 1 plus 2 equals 3.
I'm glad I got most wrong, because if I passed that would make me a professional and then I would have to pay higher exchange fees for data. DS
including, it would seem, a lot of folks at Andersen....................(and you'd think they would know better than to try swimming across that river when the animal meeting was NOT in session).
I dont know who were they testing - but i was asked these question by my fellow classmate - when I was in kidergarden in mother Russia... I think they screwed up the testing population. Didnt take statistics - or random sampling went haywire.
