  1. If you think that half a cent a share is a lot of money then maybe you can't afford to trade.

  2. it is when your doing 30 trades a day.. wtf?

  3. with IBs unbundled rate and with a limit order on ARCA or Island the comish per side would be about $4.75 or less for 3K shares.

Plus that could be broken down in sizes of about 500 shares per trade if you wanted.

Hard to beat the comish from IB with unbundled orders that add liquidity for retail traders

  5. If you take the time to read you will see that there are 2 fee schedule at IB. One is a fix 0.50 and the other is 0.35 to IB and then you add/subscract exchange fees/rebate. So both are true.
    4.75 was not round trip.

  7. You have a very serious reading comprehension problem.

How is it possible not to understand the following simple sentence from IB's commission overview: "IB offers two pricing structures for stocks and ETFs in the US and Canada: bundled which is a fixed rate per contract, and unbundled which is cost plus based pricing."

  9. I give up. I can't help you other than to tell you to stay away from IB as they will not hold your hand.
