Hey guys... I haven't seen this question asked anywhere... or maybe I'm missing something. I'm Canadian and want to invest in US stocks. People talk about that they have to convert their CAD to USD on questrade, and get charged by some big spread. I was thinking... can't you use your FX account... exchange your CAD for USD there for only a 2-3 pips and then freely transfer that money back to your trading account? I'm a noobie, so thanks for any help!
