ROFLMAO, you signed up in 2009 and only made 30 posts shows me you don't take trading seriously. I am not going to be baited in showing my signals to the likes of you. You can hit that ball all over the place and you are correct, I don't trade myself very much any more, I have others listen for the "target filled" echo.

Just to make it clear again. I am not interested in stories or fancy words. I am only interested in speaking with people who actually daytrade the ES on a daily basis. I want to speak about things like ORB, Market Internals, MTFA, T&Sales, The Ladder and any other relevant information that allows a person to effectively daytrade the ES. I do not want to hear about automation, statistics, back testing, or any other such things that have absolutely nothing to do with daytrading the ES effectively. If there are any such people out there then feel free to join this thread with any information you have about the items listed, be it good or bad. The whole point is to discuss same and learn from the discussions. In other words, stick to the point and we might get somewhere.

I use all of what you've noted to increase my edge but they are add-ons to what is core to my trading which is mostly quantitative.

@lovethetrade thank you for the simple mannerly reply. If I may now expand on the conversation.

    1. What exactly do you mean by quantitative in relation to daytrading the ES?
    2. Do you have different strategies for different times of the day, as in ORB for the first 30 min to 1 hour?
    3. Do you use this mentioned flow document to map out your trading strategies?
    4. Do you add to losers to average down, ever?
    5. Do you add to winners to maximize gains, ever?
    6. Are you profitable every day/week/month?
    7. What was your biggest % drawdown on account cash value without leverage?
    8. Do you use mental or mechanical stops, and ever adjust same?
    9. Do you have a profit target for every trade, some trades, or never have one and just take what the market gives you every time you have a winner?

I think it is best to keep personal stuff like account value, no. of winners and losers, etc, etc, out of the conversations, as these will be all personal stuff and different for every person. What we should try and talk about is the general stuff that people can look at to improve on what they do, so that they might get better personal results. I hope this is clear to all?

I understand that trying to have a conversation about trading by just sticking with talk about entries is something you want, but you're kind of going about it quite rudely. He doesn't have to show you anything, and then you have the choice to not believe anything he says.

Asking for a flowchart is completely off the mark. Might as well ask him for his home address, what kinds of flowers his wife likes, and the type of music that turns her on, all the while telling him to leave his house for the night! LOL (seriously... i understand how you would want to see how someone trades, but jesus, the way you put it is like those news stories where an employee has to train someone else to do their job, and this new person ends up being their replacement!)

The best thing you can do at this point is probably start with a new name here at ET and ask nicely in the future for a bit of guidance because this is a serious blemish in your posting history now.

I mean seriously... this magical flow chart you want is something that trading firms spend a long time working on, coding strategies and stuff since automated trading is almost like following a flow chart, and you want it handed to you??? Aye....

Maybe I am imagining things, or have all the posts in this thread by @Handle123 suddenly disappeared. Is there something going on that I need to be aware of, as this seems very strange to me?

How about posting broker details of just one trade with a chart marked up to show entry and exit. I suppose that is a rude question to ask as well on a trading site?

Well, listen, I'm all for people showing something concrete, but if you really have been around since 2009 and reading, then you would see how rare this is. There are lots of threads around where people make trade calls in real time, and you can follow those, although most either don't last long, both if they are good of bad. There aren't currently any now that I'm aware of. The more profitable the trader, the less they make calls.

Why not try and hit up that service I see advertised around here lately with 7 free day trial? It was something like www.sizetrade.com

The big thing is there really won't be much to learn from someone posting one or two trades. Even you posted 2 profitable trades, but you more than likely don't consider yourself consistently profitable. So even if Handle showed a trade where he made 4 ticks profits, would you be impressed? In fact, it sounds like most of his trades are in the order of 4-8 tick profits. Not sure what you will do with this. Even if he does catch swing bottoms for longs, or sells swing tops for shorts, maybe some of these are lucky. Notice how he said he might enter 4 times, and so he is building up his long position, all while price is dropping, so this might not even look that magical if you're thinking that he can catch absolute tops and bottoms.

Is it possible that most do not even trade, and just talk about it? There is nothing wrong with posting just one trade, as it is the conversation around the one trade that matters most. The whole purpose of this site if for traders to share information about trading, so why don't they share trading related information instead of talking about books and theories, which most know really do nothing to help a trader make money trading. Maybe some people here like wasting their time, but I do not, as I have much better things to be doing with my time. Do you know why all of @Handle123 posts have been deleted from this thread. Can he do that himself or did he have to ask a moderator? It is funny how all of his posts suddenly disappear the minute he is asked to post just details of one trade from any market. If this is not very strange then nothing is.
