    Because your 2Pts aren't a waste of time ?!
Come on ... I prefer to read fantasies than clichés !

In case some are confused. I want to:
    1. Discuss valid strategies that are used for daytrading the ES.
    2. State my current understanding and reasoning behind the strategies.
    3. Trade the strategies live and compare results with other active traders.
    4. Help others by helping myself.

You don't really know what you're on about, do you. Yes, I daydream I guess. When I have live trading logs, I will post them for you. Until then, I will sit in sim and daydream. I have a few journal bits floating about somewhere on this forum. You might come across them one day.

Cliches, what planet are you from? These are the 2 main reasons why most traders on this site are struggling. Ask them if you want to verify what I say is factual. Most will even lie to themselves about it, which makes it even worse. Then you have the likes of @Handle123 fantasizing about his imaginary automated trading, which to me is as clear as day that he is a daydreamer, not a daytrader. Show me some proof to verify what he says is true and I will apologize to everyone, as I have no problem doing that if I am wrong.

If you only knew how wrong you are. Show me 20 live round trip trade results and I will tell you exactly what your problems are, and I am not a daydreamer like most here. I know what I speak about, from actual live trading and dealing with other traders.Your problems by the way, can only be fixed by yourself, but they are very fixable once you acknowledge them and accept the facts as they are presented to you. A fool will keep doing the same thing over and over.

Well, since this is your thread, it is not considered a hijack. Because we are way off-base I reckon'. Do you agree with the tenet that what works in sim will work in live?

  7. You're making all the "Empty Suit" mistakes :

Sure WE fail because of Bad Timing (Loss Mismanagement included)
But this is cliche. Because Trading as WE know it is all bout' Timing.
Anyone that reads an article about Trading on Wiki knows this fact.

However you forgot Position Sizing ... See ? Risk Management !
Trading isn't all about timing for those with Skin In The Game.
You could be right 99% of the time and still ending bankrupt.

Proof Proof Proof ... This is nonsense. Another mistake ...
Speculators cope with uncertainty. You just don't.
Your notion of truth is "has been". Move on.
Justified True Belief ... You know. BS.

Anyway .. We can learn from anyone,
Daydreamer or not. Experienced or not.
There are more DON'T than DO with trading.

One of the DON'T is ...
DON'T mistake Absence of Evidence with Evidence of Absence.
You need just one black swan to refute the theory that all swans are white.

    Ops ... Got lost.

You can fool 1,000 people 1 time,
But you can't fool 1 people 1,000 times.

If you mean can you post 20 round trip sim trades, the answer is no. If you can't make money with sim then you can't make money live, as it is more difficult.

Many of us also have passive investments. The point I am making is...I enjoy trading. I like waking up in the morning, flipping on the charts and commencing to solve the puzzle the markets have in store for the day. It's no ball and chain deal, if I want to get up go for a run or go practice tai chi or wing chun form next to the lake, I do it. If I decide to have a glass of wine and take a nap, I do it.
I trade when I want, and I want more often than I don't....life is good.
