Questionable that GM cars could get properly serviced in bankruptcy

  1. "How bankruptcy would wreck GM and Chrysler" from Rick Newman at U.S. News and World Report:

"In a survey conducted by CNW Marketing Research, 80 percent of people close to buying a new car said they would abandon an automaker if it were to file for bankruptcy."

    and

"It's kind of important that the company selling the product be around to make good on a 60,000-mile warranty, service the car, and supply parts."

  2. If you buy american you need to be familiar with the phrase (and repeat it once a day): You get what you get and you don't get upset.

  3. Any bailout of U.S. automakers looks like throwing good money after bad.

If we learn anything from Wall Street, the money could go for exec bonuses, or to put patches on projects that will fail anyway.

  4. When you're buying a Caddy off the dealer lot at half the price of the equivalent BMW or Mercedes, you have a lot of money left over for future repairs...

The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V has 556 HP and goes 191 MPH. It ran the 'ring in 7:59.

For 59k. Thats about half my budget for a new car.

Drive the wheels off of it and get something else in 3-4 years.

Looks like a winner to me. Definitely get the Recaro seats.

Gm should be a shame for the garbage they make.

They should stick their Style up their ass.

Everything looks like a Ford Focus at $$$$$$$$$$$25,000, 35,000,45, 55 thousand dollars.

Who do they think there kidding. A BIG reasons there stock is 4 dollars a share and going BK.

Plus it's obvious they want to get rid of the Union. This is why they like to BK the company.

    trade well
