    Latency is mostly dependent of the distance.
    So it is wrong to say that latency is <2ms to anywhere.

    Unless you have found a way to increase the Lightspeed...

    Is this recent? Actually seems fairly expensive.

    We ran about 2 miles of dark fiber in the densest part of Boston and up 30 floors to the top of a building for $0 NRC and roughly $1,700 MRC with 3 year commitment. It would've been about the same for IP transit, but in this case we were trying to set up a 50G trunk to a data center where we already had 20G IP transit.

    Last mile delivery is usually the most expensive part of the pricing, so if your destination isn't say the densest part of Texas, it should be relatively cheap. Otherwise IP transit is about $400 MRC per month for 1G in most parts of the US these days.
