Question on MS Outlook

Discussion in 'Politics' started by DATTrader, Jul 7, 2002.

  1. Isn't there a way so set your primary email to be auto forwarded to a web email address like an @yahoo.com address? I will be out of town want to check my messages. I can't seem to figure it out if so. I stress that I am using OUtlook versus Outlook Express. Thanks to anyone who can help.

DATTrader, I'm not familiar with MS Outlook, however you may consider the alternative of reading your Outlook mail from Yahoo! In Yahoo! Mail go to Options, Check Other (POP) Mail, Add Mail Server and fill in the details.

  3. I just saw that myself and added my POP server info.....but when testing it it does not appear to be working. Oh well.

Just checked it myself and it works fine (after the 3rd attempt). You are most likely entering the incorrect POP server name or user account name. Keep trying, it's a feature worth having.

In Outlook, go to TOOLS, then RULES WIZARD, then click ADD NEW.

You can make a rule that all incoming email be forwarded to a certain address.
