I am looking for a new backup firm. In looking at the NFA site a couple of the firms have multiple listings with one being active, and the rest being inactive. Any idea how I should interpert multiple listings and why all but one are active? Curious if that is a potential flag to avoid issues they have created a new firm or what that means if anything. I will call NFA, but looking for any thoughts.
    Thanks

Boy, I called the NFA and they had no explantion. I called the firm and the guy I talked couldn't tell me anything other than he needed my email address to explain. I am falling into the idea that maybe the NFA is useless and offers no valid oversight. The firm in question lended no credence to why they are a good firm other than. This is a firm that advertises here regularly.
I am annoyed by this crap.
