Question: how to deal with trolls? Can't anybody do something about them?

Oh, I have a couple clients who are major contributors over there. And they are cowed.

They parse their words and huddle in their foxholes. They post with great anxiety.

  3. I agree about WRB --he is very reasonable and experienced. But if he will attract enough readers opposed to the numbers who leave is doubtful. surf

You sound anxious. As a sponsor who teaches a spread trading system, I have been filleted and grilled and gang banged nine ways from Sunday.

Grow a thicker skin. Accept the fact that disagreement is as likely as agreement. Maybe be more constructive and thoughtful with your posts. Just saying.

I don't like this - it sets a bad precedence and is the exact opposite of ignore. If the thread starter can ignore people per thread then that's fine - but absolutely not cool if the thread starter can control how other people ignore a poster.

  6. I completely agree with the first paragraph and know you have been hammered relentlessly.

Im not calling for self motivation and the stomping out of posters on my threads who trash me. I welcome it. I have a thick skin--

Basically, whenever the price action folks are presented with questions and observations that reveal what they are preaching is fanciful thinking, they complain, run and hide. That is the reason it keeps getting hanmered back on them.

They speak from a throne of authority without the first iota that it is deserved---

  7. Absolutely correct. Well stated!! Only ones who would want to control are weak demagogues, folks with shaky beliefs, and most vendors.

And you run and hide whenever anyone presses you about the meaning of "price drivers". Don't be a drama queen.

So is your farewell tour going to last longer than Barbra Streisand's? Or have you decide to stick around?

You know: it's quite easy to just ignore a poster in a thread. Even if I don't agree with B1S2's posts I just ignore them when I see them. I don't outright ignore him as a person.

Really, who cares if someone is saying something to me either in my thread or another thread - control yourself and just don't respond!

For instance db, there's no gun at your head telling you to respond to every single one of Surf's posts. You guys explicitly do it to each other non-stop in any thread you both end up on. Having to implement draconian censorship features because you guys can't keep baiting each other is dumb - particularly when you have the self-control to stop responding or validating it

  10. Haha, i have not heard babs name for years. I prefer to think that my farewell tour will be more like alice cooper's.

I always answer questions directly about what i do.

Now, what about panzermans question about hurst exponents??
