QM volume just seems to keep dropping off, while CL is going higher.

Did anyone here used to trade the QM but has since migrated over to full-size contract?

Do you think the QM volume is just too thin now?

I still trade QM, it's liquid during RTH.

WS is financially settled CL, with no volume can I trade CL on Globex?
    Which contract are you trading?

  3. I was trading QM...switched to CL following the volume. Trades in .01 ticks, rather than .025 like QM. There really isn't any reason to trade QM at this time unless contract size is a major issue to you. It does trade on the Globex.

I was trading the current QM because its a mini-contract, but the fact that volume has dried up has made me reconsider this going forward.

What is the TS symbol for electronically traded CL?
I generally trade multiple lots of QM anyway, so I would be saving a few bucks on commission anyway.

    Good Trading!

  6. CLJ07 is the TS symbol for the April electronic contract..

QM is liquid all right. There are invisible potential orders by the arbs to keep it in line and facilitate size.

I got frustrated and quit trading QM because I have to type an extra digit when placing orders. :)
