Hi, I am a IB trader, and was wondering if any of you Futures traders trade in the night-time (American time, that is) session? If so, what contracts to do you trade, and is there sufficient liquidity during these hours, in your opinion? Thanks in advance.
I think the DAX has good action which starts around 3am EST. It trades at 25 euro per tick so at current exchange rates, you're talking $33 USD. If you can handle that, it's a nice instrument to trade. Nikkei starts around 9-10pm EST. But it can move slower than the ES. Btw, I wouldn't suggest trading so late unless you have to be up during those hours. Good health, physical and mental, is conducive to trading.
You are correct, sir. Haven't looked at the N225 in a while. Lots of action past few months. Damn thing is up like 30% on the year and it was higher after the recent correction.
