    Hi,

I am a IB trader, and was wondering if any of you Futures traders trade in the night-time (American time, that is) session?

If so, what contracts to do you trade, and is there sufficient liquidity during these hours, in your opinion?

    Thanks in advance.

I think the DAX has good action which starts around 3am EST. It trades at 25 euro per tick so at current exchange rates, you're talking $33 USD. If you can handle that, it's a nice instrument to trade.

Nikkei starts around 9-10pm EST. But it can move slower than the ES.

Btw, I wouldn't suggest trading so late unless you have to be up during those hours. Good health, physical and mental, is conducive to trading.

  4. Or more accurately, Nikkei starts at exactly 8 PM est.

    You are correct, sir.

Haven't looked at the N225 in a while. Lots of action past few months. Damn thing is up like 30% on the year and it was higher after the recent correction.

  6. unless you're victor n. there is always enough liquidity
