I never looked at the indicators. When bar 3 traded in a narrow range for a few minutes I bracketed bar 2 and got filled on bar 3 at 1185. I did go in early but my thought was I could wash or reverse if necessary. Bar 4 PRV was high signaling a rocket so I put a cancel & reverse stop at the high of bar 3 in case of being on the wrong side. I manually trailed a stop as price dropped, but I gave it more room to work than on prior days. I went out with a limt order at 1182.

    bar 16...

  2. how's my analysis of a successful rocket vs. a failed rocket?

maybe i'm getting somewhere with this...

EDIT, i should add, that on the successful trade, you could have exited on the volume PEAK...that's actually a flaw in a rocket right?

    volume peaking= unsustainable= change upcoming?

am i right? i think so. lol.

  4. Jesus H - I was expecting a price spike on volume - but that was a real doozy!

  5. I caught it just a touch late - got in at 1185.25, saw it had reversed and volume had dried up and got out too late at 1185.0. It was kind of like "deer in headlights" syndrome. Definately need to work on the sports memory.

easyrider, you been watching es in relation to ym for quite a while right?
I´m still just following ym. Do you find that there´s a significant edge to look at es 5-minute and ym 2-minute in comparison to do what I do - draw the 5-minute channels on ym and then zoom in and look at volume on the 2-minute fractal?
I have a hard time to believe that this part of the method has a significant edge. From the beginning I´ve thought about it as finetune stuff like stretch/squeeze.
    What´s your experience?

  8. Does the "centering" part of CCC mean that the price bars are centered in the current channel? It sure looks to me like my bars are just riding along in the center, at the moment.

  9. There is a big advantage to watching both. You can debate whether YM leads or not but just as important is confirmation. Watch them both and see. ES is not going anywhere unless YM approves and vice versa.

Okey, hoped you´d say no but I believe you.
I´m truly fobic to technical issues and practical problems, have had a second monitor on my desk for a month, just gotta figure out how to get it plugged in. Or rather call a friend...
