Bars 1...46 I got out of synch during the lunch hour. I guess the corollary to "If you know to go" would be "If not - sideline" I need to get up to speed on the ST/IT/LT charts... Anthony
I just realized I had incorrectly drawn the last two long channels - it looks like its only the one. Anthony
Through 57. Observations - we are in the "/" of a "W" shaped day, and the channel looks to be about 7 pts wide! edit Note - I made a mistake with this long channel - it was drawn before a pt 3 had formed. I realized later, that I had used the slope of the other channels to anticipate this one.
were there any winning beginner rockets today? i had 3 losers in the es... 10:54am short @ 1191.75 (eastern time) 10:55 cov @ 1192.50 -.75 3:30pm short @ 1188.25 3:32 cov @ 1188.50 -.25 3:33 short @ 1187.50 3:35 cov @ 1188.00 -.50 (used 1 min as best i could in an anticapatory fashion) traded off 5 min es jack talks about wash trades but i still don't see how you can continually get out with no loss...even using some anticipation just wondering if i'm doing something significantly 'wrong' to produce losers. 3 losing days doing rockets and i'm not sure where i'm going wrong (i do realize we have had low volatiility) but even so, how does one get to 'no loss' trades? one thought i had was it seems like you could make up the loss with a quick scalp in the opposite direction when you have anticipated rocket failure (say for a couple ticks)...but i haven't read this in the threads yet. if more info is needed, i will supply (like charts).
Better go back to the 30 min breakout method. Hershey claims $75,000 per year with it. Its a good starting point to contrast and compare his further claims and more "advanced" ideas.
