on the chart there´s an uptrend starting at 11.10, it´s from there and forward my trendlines are drawn.
I guess what I´m trying to say is I want to narrow down my focus a bit so I don´t get lost with all the possibilities
Hi easyrider When you trade ES, do you wait for all 3 pts to be established before trading the channel, I mean you don't put a trade on until all 3 pts are established for the channel ? Thanks
Well I guess if this is the "dream team" you must have rechristened the B-Team the nightmare team. Now this is truly priceless: "The gaussains and the intercomparisons of the 5 and 2 minute fratals on two separate but parallel markets with differing types of players allows us to begin to see how technicolored things are even more refracted to spread their signals as in phoresis done with fields." Where it begin? How about "separate but parallel markets"? Since the only DJIA stock not in the S&P500 is MSFT, how do we get "separate"? Maybe a near total subset is "separate". And "parallel"? I think they're ALL open and trading at the same time. And how do we know they have "differing types of players"? Because the DJIA is a totally artificial construct designed to produce the ludicrous appearance of a seamless index over 100 years? Perhaps anybody who believes that is "different". Pick 30 S&P stocks at random and name it the AIJD and somebody would trade it. "How technicolored things are even more refracted to spread their signals as in phoresis done with fields."? I think that speaks most eloquently for itself. But excuse me, I must be off to code it up.
[There´s one thing I´ve found that I have problems with. It´s easy to find point 1-2-3 for the "smaller" channels, you just take 1st, 2nd and 3rd bar, no problem. But when you want to draw "bigger" channels it´s not as easy. You find that there are lots of possible point 1-2-3. I attached a chart with some trendlines drawn through possible point one and three to show what I mean. How do the rest of you deal with this? Is there some more or less objective way to determine wich 1-2-3 that is most valid? /Stalker] I will try to answer both of these at the same time. Yes I wait for pt. 3 to be established. I urge you not to be in a hurry about anything in the beginnning. Theres a saying I like a lot which is : "missed money is much better than lost money". I am almost always in late and out early. I like my 1,2.3's to be pretty so I will often pass on the first pt 3 if I dont like the looks of it. I want to see a nice triangle, not a lot of wrb's packed together which inidicate indecision to me. Bear in mind that I am still a beginner as far as sct is concerned and am speaking from that point of view.
Awfully quiet here, this morning. Are we having a lillte trouble identifying our point threes and finding well-fromed guasains? Sorry I can't help you with oil. It dropped a buck (what I call a "bucket of oil", new term for you), but the market just osculated sideways.
Looked pretty straightforward to me.. 1st traverse long-> pt 1-> 2nd traverse short-> pt2 -> 3rd traverse ->pt3 -> traverse-> ftt ->lateral?-> long traverse (we're still in it). --laz
Got lost in the ten oclock area which happens a lot on number days, to me. Resumed channels when things settled down.
Im still working on the fine tuning but did anybody else see the strectch come in to tell you that little upsurge around 2 wasnt going anywhere?
