  1. Absolutely. There are some times that you are totally out of synch. Dont know what causes it but it happens. I usually leave for awhile.

    Nice going on the trading.

  2. What a bunch of neat comments on being in the groove. I am relatively amazed at how Grob was able to just formalize it. You really do know when you're grooving and when your not. For me, I just sense when change is here. I don't know why I know, I just know that I know. This is my bewilderment about how he was able to formalize how he knew he knew. Grob sees it as WWT, my equivalent of "something here is different". You may not necessarily know why, but you know that in fact something has changed. Like going back to your old house and looking around. You see something different and just pinpoint it and work from there. This is a bit loose but it is as you say. The MADA just becomes automatic and sometimes you just jump straight to action since the MAD just happens without even being conscious that you did MAD... I am a bit freaky since the orchestra is what I listen for. Every aspect that is monitored is like a different instrument. The melody can shift across different instruments but the ensemble is all playing the same piece/movement. It is why I strive to add str/squ, gaussian, DOM, tape... They are an ensemble that corroborate and play the music. Once you recognize the tune and it's various segments, you can just hum along as the music plays...

just dropping in between jobs, hope you´ve made some money.

Everybody seems to speak about crude oil and the inversed relationship to futures. Anybody of you watches it in conjunction with es?

  5. Looks like we are going asymptotic to the IT LTL -- in other words the ST long that started yesterday is curving as it gets closer to the LTL.

  6. Stalker, although I am not one of "them", I watch and trade the sometimes relationship between oil and NQ. A secondary benefit to that is laughing my ass off at the causes of the formation of their beloved channels. Like the prisoners in Plato's Republic watching the shadows on the cave walls.

Thx for the comments Mak. I forgot about Grob's past references to music. It was over my head when I first read his commentary on it a while back, but I think I'm starting to sense what he means. I don't totally understand it, but I'm sensing it. This whole knowledge transfer is interesting, but it seems it doesn't click until an experience transfer happens and is reinforced.

In regards to sensing change, after change comes "know to go". Funny thing is, there's no single element that tells you that "you know to go". You just know. I've spent several days reflecting on those posts and going over the play by play so maybe the "know to go" receptor is firing with the MADA receptor now... more grooving peptides please.

For the detractors, I'll save you some time. Don't bother plotting the trades and adding indicators looking for a signal. There's not one single element that drove the actions. You are the signal. After you corroborate change, "you know to go". Back to practice.
