  1. FWIW....Couldn't get mine to work today until I deleted the = and used Cumulative volume instead of total like MAK pointed out a while back.

  2. Another fine day of "edge" trading here.
How about the channel whackers ?

latest developments - in the final 5 min stretch 4:10pm my xls started working - no further explicable changes were made I did restart excel about 63 times.

As of now I have to wait for market to reopen to see if it actually works or just toying with my head. will post xls if it does.

last 5 minutes.... is it possible you stopped another app or DDE spreadsheet that might have been causing conflicts? With IB's API each app must pass a unique ID... not sure if that is also true w/ their DDE interface.

IQFeed version worked perfect for me today, a much better tool than what I've been using for PRV.

    hey TX

makes sense I agree - but no, only had one xls open and no other DDE links active. Will see in the morning if it works.

Trading has to be one of the few occupations where one looks forward to the morning or to Mondays !

  9. This PRV tool will become a desktop staple for sure. Great job MAK!!!

Still getting use to the terminology around here but I guess I'm a "rocket" type trader too. Often trade off of one minute charts as it fits my YM psychological tolerance level ;-) The things I'm learning here (with the help of visual tools) is sure slowing the market down for me. For that I am grateful to the members of this board....

  10. Sorry for the cross-post...
    Grob,

You are looking at a max of 1 MB for your attachment, which is far smaller than most .avi files.

Probably the most acceptable way to do it is to put it into a .zip file.

Feel free to PM me if you have specific/other questions.
