Very cool, very well-built tool, thanks for sharing Mak. I've given it a predominent place on my desktop so I can try to get the timing/sequences down. If anybody ever doubts futures leading cash they can just watch column G chase column H all day long.

Impressive, indeed. If I may ask, how many Roundturns did you do to get to that total?

    Thanks.

  6. I went back to delete the post but it was too late. I always feel a little foolish when I post any numbers and swear to never do it again but I was a little offended by CL's post and lost my cool. Its really pointless because there is no end to it which is why Im sure Mak nor Jack dont do it. That said I probably wouldnt have been so quick to post it on a normal day as I dont usually do quite that well.:) To answer the questions : Sprital you were close on the first two. No shorts. Had 3 longs and one wash, total of 30 rts, 20 es and 10 nq. I just hope we are not settling back into this range for another week. Have enjoyed the last two days.

  8. We are all peers among peers. I have a great amount of difficulty when others view my status as something more than just equals. I always see myself as someone with plenty of room for improvement. I can learn from anyone and go to great lengths to learn from everyone. The majority of ETers being trolls who take whatever they can and contribute nothing don't see ET for what it's worth, something with vast potential. The Case Studies framework we use in class is an excellent example of how people can contribute to solutions for the task at hand. Without getting philosophical, the potential is great as Grob and Spyder and a handful of you fine folks know. There is also a small group of lurkers (non-trolls) who observe and take what they can without dishing out the nonsense. I am also encouraged by their open-mindedness. That's nononsense....

AH YES... NQ... It too has a leading hand. It took me quite some time to locate it and it is still in the lab for polishing. In time I hope to pop this out to store in the toolbox. The NQ smart money has to be monitoring something and apparently they do as far as I can tell. More screen time with it will do.

Correct me if I'm wrong Easy but the tick size will be changing to .1 instead of .5 some time in April Y/N??? Should be interesting....

    Kind Regards,
    MAK

  9. Thanks Grob...

My contributions can't even match yours or spyders and few other of the finer folks on this thread. I'm sure the best is still yet to come as far as what I can deliver. I am sure that many others including ourselves know and have experienced what it is like to contribute to a "community" and have the "community" make use of the contribution. It is an unimaginable delight. Growing up, I was on the recieving end of soup kitchen lines everyday for the majority of my adolescent years. Those on the other side of the table were there everyday without fail contributed their time effort and skill. When the time came, one of those individuals (who was a professor at the local State University) went so far as to forward my college application to the undergraduate Ivy that I later on was accepted by and graduated from before heading for futhur graduate studies at the ivory towers in cambridge. The volunteers were faithful because they saw that they were making a difference that counted time and time again...

Unfortunately, ET is rampant with trolls. They take what they can and contribute absolute nothing to the OPEN FORUM body of knowledge for various reasons. I know why Scientist left. Too often it is like the blind following the blind. Another person whose contributions I regard was banned this week from ET for yet another ridiculous reason. At some point, things just become dull and unenthusiastic with contributors being far and few in between. This is why I spend alot of time in the lab with long debriefing and frontier/horizon lists. I'm ranting...

In any event, I am hoping that you will be able to make use of it with your group. I developed it simply because it was the cleanest way to verify the concept of SMART MONEY given the DOM framework I use for my NOW screen (BOOKTRADER/DOM; DOM BARS; YM/INDU OFFSET), especially the DOM BARS/SPREADSHEET combo. Any beginner monitoring this combo briefly will quickly and irrefutably verify the truth of the matter.

If you have any suggestions for tools whether they be mechanical (ie. PRV) or visual (ie. STR.NEUT.SQU), shoot me over a PM so that I can work on it.

    As always Grob,
    Kindest Regards,
    MAK

as promised here is a summary setup for IB - hope it helps. Attached is a zip file with a 3 page power point summary - very straightforward - hit F5 once open to see it in most visible format and page down from there.

Once read, follow the steps using Mak's XLS which I have made a copy of, renamed and have dummy IB links in place - all you need to do is replace the dummy ID with your IB login name.

hopefully this will work - we'll see during market hours Thursday. I'll be happy to make changes/corrections

Mak many thanks again for making this available - Grob's comments today are indeed accurate.
