    Any chance you could upload your IB version for us programming illiterates.

    edit: I just realized that probably wont work as the user name is involved.

    edit. I am playing with this but I cannot find the perpendicular line you are using after the username on my keyboard.

    I'll help you no problem. What I did to get the correct link was download IB's demo xls and then once I got the feed working in that I copied and pasted the syntax into MAK's xls. The keyboard symbol you can't find is a 'pipe' and on US keyboard US keyboard it is above the backslash so SHIFT+backslash (usually above the ENTER button). It looks like 2 bars on keyboard but comes out as a single line in text i.e. like this | - you could copy and paste that also.

    The only thing that varies in IB is the id # - not sure on how the number gets assigned to a specific ticker.

    =myIBusername|tik!id3?last

    anyway - if you don't get it working PM me or tonight I will write up exact steps to get you up an running

  4. MINOR EDIT/CLARIFICATION... Got in late this AM... Commuter trains...

    MONITOR: LOWER PAIR -> STR -> HIGHER PAIR ->
    ANALYZE: STR -> (STICKINESS)
    DECISION: ACT (STR STICKING)
    ACTION: REVERSE (LONG) ->
    MONITOR: HIGHER PAIR -> STR

    or

    MONITOR: HIGHER PAIR -> SQU -> LOWER PAIR ->
    ANALYZE: SQU -> (STICKINESS)
    DECISION: ACT (SQU STICKING)
    ACTION: REVERSE (SHORT) ->
    MONITOR: LOWER PAIR -> SQU

    This is because the STR/SQU of YM/INDU occurs before the ES moves to a NEW HIGHER/LOWER PAIR.

    61.18 was posted as the market offset on indexarb.com. I will be calibrated in a minute or so once I'm backfilled...

  5. I always roundoff to the nearest .00. Round numbers are ok for me because I am able to stay loose. There is no silver bullet fraction of a number. I am calibrated to the smart money and 61 looks excellent. The DOM bars I monitored were slow so it was easy to get situated...

    Kind Regards,
    MAK

  8. Hi MAK,

    You are really making this a great week for a lot of people.

    This is such a great example of the value and merits of sharing.

    The power of your work to be able to link to the smart money (YM) and then make use of this to trade the ES which follows the smart money is so effective and efficient for maintaining expertise in the dual simultaneous effort of collecting timely profits and, at the same time, embarking on the next market transition.

    My deepest compliments on your labors and the exacting way you spend so much time to arrive at such helpful places for all of us.

    Being tested as you have been is an unlimited experience. It allows everyone in your sphere to see the power of makng contributions. It certainly is not a steely or superficial thing; kindness runs so very deep and lasts so long for those you touch and enable. They will too.

    The groove is there: you are in the groove and you let others see the markets. Just terrific!!!

    My deepest compliments and support. It is so great to see a person excell and climb on up there. Soon you will be out of sight.
