  1. here is the 2nd chart.

after my first trade i had a strong urge to just quit in order to 'bank' the profit for the day but an old saying from high school that my band teacher used to say about competition...

once is luck, twice is skill.

that made me want to continue to trade. to prove to myself it wasn't just luck.

i am going to make my trading a life-long improvement process...starting from a point of initial success.

Thank you very much Moz. If we just can get the charts it will be a joy to listen to these files for the next month or so. As someone mentioned it would be really helpful if there were stoc and macd on the charts too.

There´s one more that is not working, the audio file from 3 november (11-03). Tried on different occasions, but it says "The file has failed verification".

This is to test some new found zipping skills and find out if you think these charts will be usable with the audio.

It would be good if one could see the values for volume and price, makes it easier to follow what´s happening.
If it´s possible to zoom in so the bars become little bigger it would be nice, but it´s okey.

Moz, I agree with Stalker, the values on the right side of the chart would be useful... otherwise they're perfect. Thanks again, this is very generous.

Finally I have an excuse to get away from my desk. I'll load the MP3s onto my iPod, print out the charts and transcripts, and find someplace cozy to study.

  9. just a couple quickies for today. it's all on the chart.

leaving money on the table used to upset me. it doesn't anymore. That is not to say that i WANT to leave money out there.

the issue is, i think, that i am confident now of my ability to pick the right side and flow with it. and i'm getting so that i can do this almost at will.

just set up the channels, spot the right side and go. if it turns out to be wrong or GO wrong, reverse. I believe a reverse can be done for 0-3 ticks loss, which gives you potentially quite a bit to profit from on the other side.

grob's TD in the sexy idea thread is my basis for this belief. If he could do it, why can't I?

    that's pretty kiss.

  10. Trading is not that hard unless you build up a history of losses. Then you are fighting an uphill battle. You are smart to do a lot of papertrading. A lot of people knock it, including Jack I think but it makes no sense to me to trade cash if you dont have a strategy that works on paper and I really wish I hand done much more of it in the beginning. It is eyeopening if you use a decent simulator that puts you in the queue and if your honest in your attempt you find that making consistent paper profits is not all that easy .
