I'll look into the mp3 bitrate changer to shrink the audio files for future uploads. I'm learning a lot about computer technology because of this. Here's a bit of context for these files. Jack's Paltalk sessions ostensibly grew out of the interaction in the Stochastics thread that eventually migrated to the MSN site to avoid the detraction on ET. The interaction of the group consisted of Jack speaking and sometimes typing text and others typing text only. The sessions covered the market open and AM trading and occasionally another audio session was held after midday to cover PM trading. Because there were people who were interested in trading stocks as well as stock index futures (ES), it was agreed by the group that the audio for Wednesdays would be for stocks. There was some audio for ES trading mixed in at times, however. Jack also held chats on weekends, primarily Saturdays, for people interested in stocks. The audio sessions with Jack began on Thursday, August 28, 2003 and lasted about two months. The last audio recording I have is for Wednesday, October 29, 2003. For those interested in these audio files, rest assured that I intend to make available all that I have, as the lack of tech knowledge on my part seems to have been overcome. Hopefully someone else can provide intraday charts for these days as they are missing from my archives and probably lost. In any case, what I would like to do is allow tech savvy people like Moz and anyone else to post what they have and I will fill in any holes from my archives if needed.
Here are the recordings I have uploaded so far, I will keep working on it and get them all up there. If you are using word you can just click on the link while pressing "CTRL" and it should open a browser at the correct download page. If you are using notepad, highlight and copy each link without the date in front of it and paste into your browser address bar.
Thanks again Moz and Icarus. Will make a nice project this weekend. What would really be neat if we could get the tick data for these days and tape the replay of the charts to go along with the audio on dvds. Would make a nice collection. Saw some str/squ in action at the top this afternoon. Really neat to watch. Indu and es wanted to continue but ym would not consent. Kind of strange how that works.
Updated download links, this is all the rest, hope you find them useful. I'm working on transcripts now so I don't have to post fifty posts with attachments.
Many thanks for the audiofiles. I find it great and I really hope someone can get the charts. One of the files is not possible to download, the one from 9-8-03, must be something wrong with it. Hope you keep posting charts and details that you see Easyrider, very valuable comments. The thread has improved a lot now when I don´t babble all the time /stalker
ok these are my highly imperfect trades for today on the euro. all trades were done using market orders (i HOPE they are realistic fills. waited till the B or the A was at my price to hit the key) ---if anyone can comment on the realism of doing this it would be helpful. anyhow, pretty much all my comments are on the chart. i wrote them down as soon as possible after i took the actions. my 'goal' for the day is to make $100. (steady profits/day for the last 5-7 days have already occured, though it hasn't been EXACTLY 100...say between +50 to +200). 100*5=500/wk =2000/mo that # is 2x what i need to live on. so that's my 'reason' for the 100 bucks/day. i am WELL aware of the markets potential to offer cash, lol. to begin live trading, my goal is to get to the equivalent of 20 es points. (4 euro ticks = 1 es point in $) helpful comments are welcome.
