Icarus and nkhoi , I believe Jack once said somewhere âtime is the only currency with finite limits and to be sure to spend it wiselyâ I would like to personally thank both of you, and everyone involved for sharing their time with all those taking on this endeavor. It is great to see examples of how well humans can truly interact and help one another. Lastly, the audio was terrific and as stated allows us all to see that trading is very relaxed and simply about making the best decision available at the time of Now. Thanks again. Regards, excav8tr
Thanks all, I found the recording/chart/transcript VERY useful. It was a great experience hearing Jack narrate his thoughts as the day unfolded. The best impression I took from it was the calmness to his analysis of changing conditions, even when things didn't go as expected. I've spent a lot of time in recent weeks reading through the older Hershey trading threads and have come across a lot of terms used frequently a few years ago that are rarely mentioned in the more recent threads. Two examples are stop logs and indicator periodicity... but both were mentioned numerous times in the recording and I now have a good idea how they are used. Also, hearing Jack mention Volume and PRV over and over and over was good... he has always stressed their importance in his writing, but hearing it left even more of a lasting impression. So I see the recordings as a valuable tool and would love to hear all that are available (even the equities). Hopefully somebody that has more of them archived will share (Christmas is just a week away...lol). I had no problem working with the file size as it is. But out of curiosity I found some shareware software software on the web that converted the bit-rate of the file from 160kbps to 32kbps... which lowered the file size from 176MB to 35MB. The sound quality was sufficient. The program will let you convert an entire folder of files to a smaller bit-rate with just a few clicks. Download the "mp3 bitrate changer" from: http://www.4musics.com/mp3-bitrate-changer.htm
Here are few more mp3's, I think I have most of them. I've been trying to figure out a way to post all at once or upload all at once, but that is trickier than I thought. If I can't figure something else out I'll just keep doing them one at a time. Merry Christmas! These are for Aug 28,29,and 31 of 03. If they don't download correctly let me know. Later. http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php?f=90dea401f10717a091e2c2c6 http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php?f=4d6246d6141fdbea68d6798d http://www.filefactory.com/get/f.php?f=fafca22091f583b97704ed9c
Thanks for sharing Moz, this is very much appreciated. If you are able to generate the charts, can you display the stochs and macd since Jack frequently refers to them. I have the historical data for ES going back to the time of the recordings but not for the SP, which is what Jack was trading in those days. cheers!
Thanks to nkhoi for getting this ball rolling. He has always been a great help when it comes to solving problems. Thank Moz for the additional tapes. This stuff is a really great addition to a great thread. Kudos all around. p.s. yummy rocket there, verdad? p.p.s. one thing Jack said on the first tape about waiting for the macd to take you out of a trade is something I have been working on and am doing more and more as I gain confidence in it. It is really helping me hang in there longer.
