just wanted to see what some of you thought about these 'flaws' in a couple rockets what i mean is, i'm trying to identify when washing out of a rocket that isn't taking off is simply not an option (too many flaws to allow it?) in such situations it would seem that a rocket that's not going to allow a wash out IS going to allow a stop/reverse...or exit/reverse if you prefer....simply because it is highly volatile to the upside. i would rather take a 1-2pt hit as i'm reversing and make some of it up going the other direction, than just getting out with a loss (since washing would not have been possible. ok well if anyone can get through my ramblings, good luck, lol.
Dell-boy, since you´re into patterns - have you read Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns? Is it worth the money? I only know the basics of the basic formations, would be fun to read more
In Sweden we have shifted to winter time this weekend. Is it the same in US? I´m not really sure when dow opens tomorrow... /Stalker
Nobody has tried to come up with an explanation of why trendlines exist. It´s a little strange not knowing why these patterns exists when we´re drawing them everyday Someone´s sitting on the answer? I do NOT believe "because everybody´s watching them" or something like that, that´s for sure, but I haven´t really figured it out either. I believe it´s a reflection of human behavour or some kind of mechanism in the market. Pretty vague, I admit. Does anyone have a theory? Read anything about it? /Stalker
