how many real trades these last two days / results?

please answer my questions - or is it still paper trading you are doing here?

 

there was a post in this thread by somebody with the nick "grob106" - why did it disappear? who deleted it?

 

I´m just simulatortrading, but I´ve never made as many paperdollars before as i´ve done this week, and i´m still really crappy at this. Of course, statistically this doesn´t mean much, but for me it´s worth trying out.
I think jack´s metod is really helpfull if u wanna understand the market, how ít behaves and why, and that´s important for me as a beginner.
If i can´t learn to use the strategy to make profits, I can always use the knowledge i´ve gained to create something that fits me - u can´t get everything for free...

Those who want a simple backtested strategy (that probably doesn´t work) and not having to bother with understanding what they are doing, they can pay 5k to traders international...

I did not trade Wednesday or Thursday as I was out of town but I dont believe posting trades was ever a requirement for this thread. Stalkers question was about learning Jacks method and, hopefully, we will make some progress along that line. I did post a couple of trades the other day but that probably was not a good idea.

 

are you personally absolutely convinced about all the cornerstones of this concept:

- an exit = entry in the other direction

- no stops

- a target of 3x h-l on avg. is consistently possible

- being always in the market (6 hours per day)

please tell me if you think this will sooner or later be the right style for you, easy?

once more i'd like to mention that i think there might be somehing to it - but after all it's just about higher bottoms and lower tops - under consideration of volume - and all those lines and channels - well if you draw them or not - doesn't make a difference anyway. so nothing special so far. but the above mentioned points are what simply makes it a snake oil story.

 

IN MY EXPERIENCE CHANNELS ARE A VALUABLE TOOL. I COULD CARE LESS IF ANYONE ELSE USES THEM.

PS. Snake oil comes up when somebody is charging something. That is not the case here.

 

of course - no charging here - but maybe grob is frontrunning you.

I found a paper showing pro rata timing for es, found it interesting. gonna try to watch it today. Anybody got the same for ym?
