The $ 2,000.00 p.m. fee is pretty standard across prop firms in chicago. In fact it mightr be on the lower end. When I checked with last (I trade thru them remotely though), that includes CQG, squak box, their platform fees of $ 550.00, their computers, desk fees etc. I did contact one other prop firm in chicago, and their desk fees were $ 2,600.00 with TT as their platform. Since I trade remotely I still pay $ 550.00 (platform fees) + Charting service ($ 200.00- not CQG--CQG is the cream of the crop) + squawk box ($ 50.00) plus the cost of computers. If anything goes wrong with my system, I am my own IT person and that is scary, though nothing has happened yet. My 2 cents
