The early version of EOD I owned was incredible piece of software but it was slow. I operated it with Yahoo data as I remember. If one clicks on a symbol in TradeStation it will complete a chart with a few studies in a second or so and one can look through a lot of symbols fairly quickly. The same exercise would take 4-5 seconds sometimes on EOD. I would appreciate comments from someone(s) who are currently using it, how they view it in this regard. Regards, bc
Using Yahoo data means to grab those free data from Yahoo. Hence the slowness. If you choose to use other sources like TC2000 or Quote Plus, then those EOD data load really fast. And of course, if you use NeoTicker with eSignal, data download speed is many many times faster.
