Question about FX volumes

  1. I've been following FX trading for a couple of weeks now and have noticed the trade dies at about 11 am cst everyday.

Is it the summer or is this the case all the time?

Also, can anyone reccomend any pairs other than the eur/usd pair that moves independantly of eur/ usd?

It seems like what is left of the european currencies are the same trade or inversely the same trade.

  2. When trading FX you need to always be thinking about what is going on in London at the time. 11am central is 5pm in London so fo a lot of people in London it is time to start power boozing.

Did you notice how the Chicago folks kept things going a little longer today? There were some nervous longs lurking about in the Futures pits.
