I started using the product when it was AlgoTerminal. With the QuantTerminal rebrand, the price point was dramatically lowered for retail traders. The product definitely has a cult following, but at this point they need to start aggressively marketing the product which I hope to see soon.

    capitalmarkets,
Thx for posting all of this. I hadn't heard of IQBroker. I don't use ML so that part isn't important to me. I don't have any issues with the demo version so far. Next step is a call with the company. FWIW, I've also tried reaching out to AlgoTrader but they seem to be discouraging active traders.

    Cheers,

If anyone here is using QuantTerminal, feedback ? is it often updated and well maintained? does it have a large userbase ? it seems there is a forum for users to share and discuss.

Any experience finding freelancers/developers for getting tasks done setting up QuantTerminal and translating strategies from EL to QuantTerminal ?

Comparing Quant Terminal to SmartQuant and Zorro at the moment, need a better solution than Multichart that i have been using for the past years live trading.

I use it for my own trading and do consulting for the platform in terms of coding strategies, building integrations, etc. You can see other comments I have in this thread.

Update: I spoke with the owner of QuantTerminal (QT) yesterday after testing a demo version of the product. I liked what Daniel had to say and I plan on signing up for a license. He's a small business owner like many of us. I found him to be forthright and generous with his time. The business doesn't require external financing and there are no plans to raise outside capital. A pitfall of a small company is business continuity planning. It wasn't something I asked about but Daniel mentioned it and said he was taking steps to address the issue. QT appears to be a mature product (first launched around 2006 IIRC). This is only my gut read at this point but it seems to be a profitable, stable business and trading platform. I'll post more on this as I port my strategies onto QT and start live trading.
