âEvery truth passes through three stages before it is recognized In the first it is ridiculed, in the second it is opposed, in the third it is regarded as self-evidentâ Arthur Schopenhauer quotes (German Philosopher, 1788-1860)
While this observation may very well be true, the same certainly cannot be said of its partial converse. Specifically, not everything that's ridiculed in the first stage is a truth.
