Quadriga Superfund - Managed Futures

Discussion in 'Financial Futures' started by USAtrader, Mar 22, 2004.

  1. Where do you see their after fees returns ?
I went to their website and there is no mention of after fees returns. And if I recall most of their funds were up only like 10-15% from their inception. With their outrageous fees , I would bet a lot of investors lost money in most of their newer funds open to new investors.

IMO Superfund stinks for the average investor , it's just another
story of one fund/strategy having a string of great years and then basing all their marketing on that one fund/strategy whose current performance can' t match past ones. Of course they are up pretty big YTD, which trend followers wound't be up with that commodity bubble ?

  6. I don't know where you are getting those numbers perhaps you are misled by the misleading numbers they show on their website. The fact is that most if not all of their top performing funds (older offerings) have been closed to new investors for a number of years, they had a huge run up to 2002 the funds were closed and the new funds haven't done much of anything for their investors. That's why I am only looking at their SICAV , they are only up 3-6 % per annum since inception in 04, and all of the gains come from this year's bubble in commoditites. And I don't know how you know that returns are shown "net of fees" So buyer beware.

I was in this fund for 3 years from 2002-2004, and the performance matches what is advertised, although quite volatile!

I am not sure which country you are in but I am in the US and am quoting their products available to the US. Here is the link to use. I have bought and sold using the exact NAV provided on this link so it is net of fees:
