What a marketing machine. Nothing else. Results suck for last 2 years. http://www.superfund.com/downloads/video/SF_Imagefilm_EN.wmv
That was beautiful. All that was missing were the semi-naked greek goddesses fanning Christian in his Quadriga-green marble Jacuzzi and feeding him grapes!
Admit it guys, there is not a single person on ET that would not trade lives with him in heart beat. Don't hate the player, hate the game.
I'd rather be honest, keep my integrity than be selling a BULL load of crap every day. The guy in the video goes...in the next 2 years there will be BIG moves in markets and SoooooperFond will profit BIG for our investors!
Dude put a sock in your altruism. This guy has generated 8 consecutive years of astonishing returns. Last year he was up 17% and this year could possibly be their first full down year. At the moment they are down 5% and 9% in their A and B funds respectively. He is not defrauding anybody. Don't pull this integrity bullshit. When you put up those kind of returns, you can reap the rewards too. Envy is one of the deadly sins you know.
I guess you must be their US rep? If I were 1 of their 55000 dumb and clueless investors, after seeing this video, I sure as hell would rethink the stupidity of paying them huge fees for decorating their offices just to sucker in more dumb money. Maybe another year or 2 of crappy returns will do just that.
Jesus man, 100 pages of this thread and the same shit. Dumb investors? Do you want to explain that. They have made more money then you in your 3k E-Trade account. I just don't understand how you are now turning your hate from Quadriga to the people who invest in them. Get a grip man. If you hate your life so much, stick a pistol in your mouth. Maybe their returns will suck going forward. Maybe John Henry's returns will suck too. Who cares? Do you? Ken Griffin at the Citadel is having his worst year ever too. Does he suck too? Where do you draw the line? Does every fund suck? Everyone except you right? Just another ET poser. Get a life. Or better yet, focus on your own trading and not on others.
Why I am commenting I have no idea. Being somewhat familiar with SEC regulations (I was with a hedge fund, and did prime brokerage with ibank for years), I believe that their claim to be a "hedge fund" would constitute "illegal" marketing. Since as I understand their prospectus, they are not a hedge fund (in SEC definition), rather a managed futures fund (that charges rather obscene fees, even for a hedge fund, but that's besides the point). And any hedge funds (as private investment vehicles) can not advertise by definition.
How did Christian wind up for the Year, only down a mere 10%. So that's a break even after he got paid! Maverick: I don't hate the player btw, I was very happy with the 38% I milked out of that investment. I am just happy to have liquidated before it really shit the bed. Happy New Year! ebo PS: I am open to any of your other CTA ideas.
